Ken and Jessica Olson—The Olsons—are Nashville-produced singer-songwriters. (Their album “Let the Nations Be Glad” was produced by Gaither Vocal Band former member Terry Franklin.) They write and perform a blend of folk rock, country, and gospel music, featuring fingerstyle guitar and tight harmonies. They have lived in both Europe and Africa, bringing an international flavor to their music. Their repertoire includes songs in French, Lingala, Zulu, and Mono (the final one featuring an African harp). Ken recently succeeded in convincing Jessica to start learning the mandolin. Their children regularly join them on stage, filling out the harmonies and adding significantly to the cuteness factor.
